Cthulhu hoop earrings with green patina

Description

These earrings are handcrafted from brass with a green patina that gives them an antique touch, not as much as our dear primordial god, but close enough. What I like most is that it looks like someone found them on the bottom of the sea, where they have been waiting for years to be found.

Cthulhu, the Great Original God, is a monster created by H. P. Lovecraft. He describes him as “a monster of vague anthropoid outline, but with an octopus-like head, the face of which was a mass of tentacles, a scaly, rubbery looking body, with prodigious claws on the hind feet and long, narrow claws behind.

This piece, as well as the rest of the shop, is handmade in our small workshop in Madrid.

Earring size: 12.7mm/0.5 in high –
Hoop size: 14mm. See the shape of the hoop in the product photos. It does NOT have a locking mechanism, but you have to open it, insert it into the ear hole and close it again until the stick goes through the small opening of the earring. They may be harder to close, but they never break!

VERY IMPORTANT!

***Because of the way the patina is applied, no two earrings are the same. So the earrings you receive will not be as pictured, but they will be just as beautiful. Every Cthlhu is unique and special.
****The green patina is beautiful but delicate so try to keep it away from water and if possible apply a light coat of clear nail polish every 2 months.
